Payments and Cancellation Policy Information
Please note that our costing and payment structure is customized; the standard information below should only be used as a general guide. The payment requirements and deadlines will be unique to each trip.
Payment Methods: All payments can be made by personal check (US $), money order, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover). It is also possible to wire a payment directly into our bank account, in which case we charge an additional $30 for each transaction.
Deposits: The deposit amount varies with the cost of the trip:
- $600 per person for trips under $2000
- $800 per person for trips between $2000 and $5000
- $1,200 per person for trips over $5000
- For trips over $3000, a second deposit of $1000 is required four months before the trip
Promptly after receiving your deposit, we will send you a booking packet with the following materials: detailed information about the safari, the suggested packing list, trip insurance brochure, and credit card receipt (if applicable).
Final Payment: We send an invoice for the final payment approximately 70 days before the trip begins, and payment is due 45 days before the trip. We reserve the right to cancel any reservation for which payment is not received by the due date.
Prices: The prices listed on this website are in U.S. dollars, and are based on double occupancy. We reserve the right to adjust prices when circumstances beyond our control -- like fluctuating exchange rates -- cause significant changes in the prices. We guarantee the trip price at the time you pay the deposit.
Date Change: Once you are confirmed on a trip, changing to a different date incurs a $100 per person fee, in addition to any penalties as defined by our refund policy.
Refund Policy: Deposits are not refundable. We will refund 50% of the final payment if notice is given 31 days or more before the trip begins. No refund will be given for cancellations 30 days and under.
